Curtis suspended; Sudakov released

Late Friday night, RCW officials confirmed that Owen “Truth” Curtis had been suspended from active competition for 28 days and fined a substantial sum for his attack on “Lone Wolf” Brody Thunder during the 20 April broadcast of RCW RAMPAGE. Curtis could not be reached for comment, but it was confirmed that Curtis will still appear as scheduled at the new RCW RAMPAGE event, where he is not scheduled to wrestle.

RCW officials also announced that the pro-wrestling hunter/killer, Kolya Sudakov, had been released from his RCW contract with immediate effect. Sudakov’s agent, Ben Waterson, did not wish to make comment.

Finally, an RCW spokesman revealed, off the record, that RCW President Daniel Spreadbury is looking carefully into the issue of event security and greater penalties for RCW competitors who involve themselves in others’ matches after the events of last Thursday’s RAMPAGE. An official announcement is expected from the President later this week in On The Wire.
