New RAMPAGE… new champion?

RCW World Heavyweight Champion Johnny Pleasence faces off against number one contender Mark Coleman in the main event of this week’s live RAMPAGE broadcast, emanating from the beautiful Rose Garden in downtown Portland, Oregon.

In addition to that huge main event, no fewer than four wrestlers make their RCW debuts. “Global Superstar” Ron Paris squares off against a mystery opponent, Giuseppe Valentine goes up against the legendary Derek Rage, and Samuel Muster and Big Bad Wolff face each other.

Initial Wild Summer Night buy rate information

RCW officials are set to announce tomorrow that the pay-per-view buy rate for Wild Summer Night is upwards of 150,000 buys.

When contacted for comment by ripcitywrestling.com, RCW President Daniel Spreadbury remarked, “For a new promotion in its first few months of existence, this is a very encouraging figure, and we expect the final buy rate figure to be higher, once figures from all markets are collected.”

The RCW President was bullish about RCW’s future performance in television and pay-per-view. “We’re actively looking at ways of extending the reach of our current television products, and adding syndication in new markets. We’re confident that by the time our second pay-per-view hits on December 31st, we’ll have considerably greater reach not only in the Pacific north-west, but nationally across the United States.”

RCW programming returns to KPDX-49 this coming Thursday night, 10th August, at 10pm with the first edition of RCW On The Wire since 6th July. RCW RAMPAGE returns with a live broadcast from the Rose Garden arena in Portland, OR on Thursday 17th August at 10pm.
